Brent: First things first, congrats to Much Ado About Muffins for winning their 2nd Night at the Movies, 2nd in a row, first team to win 2, highest score in N@tM history, etc. If there’s a N@tM accolade, I’m pretty sure they’ve got it.
Also, and this is worth mentioning, I believe (not certain) that Muffins’ 119 points sets the record for the highest score ever attained in a specialty game (Rednecks had a 114 MTM and Alliance had a 110+ Trivia Bowl at some point). Outstanding!
Bobby: The People’s Major was a kaleidoscope of rich gooey Full Contact Trivia goodness with a full on ‘incident’, a boat race major win, a geographical 1st, and (almost secretly until now) an honorable 1st EVER solo major effort – AND A DAMN FINE ONE -from Danny Boxcutter of Phasers. Can you say, 75 and 5th place? Kudos kiddo….
Muffins go into Ghengis Hitler Cthulu mode and choke slam all who dare utter their name with a 119 (11); a full 31 points clear of SECOND PLACE United (18), who pick up a precious 6 points on Axis(15), who finish 3rd and still suck like their mamas on pay day…
Rash – 77 (8)
Lost Cause – 56 (8)
#9 – 55 (5)
Ray- Ray – 53 (8)
Jimmy Jams – 52 (8)
Sauce Boys – 43 (4)
Coconuts- 23 (4)
Now to the Sunday action…
BPW: Jimmy Jams (106), Axis (105), and United (104) play a close one…
Amici: Phasers (92), Axis (91), and Liquor in the Front (88) take top honors, with Rash (87) achingly close behind.
