MTM XIII, Week 3, Thursday

Axis wins their 6th straight Amici game, with United in 2nd.  Stranded take 3rd and are your invited Amici team.  They’ll make it onto the scoreboard once I collect details on their #’s so far.

At Johnny’s in Athens, Bob Loblaw’s Law Blog lobbed law bombs at all other contenders en route to a win and an invite to MTM.  Well done!  2nd place, So Does Trees (wtf?)… 3rd, Jimmy Jams.

Instead of asking a new game in Grayson this week, Mr. Hinson just re-reported last week’s top 3 and everyone believed him: Axis, Bobby Brown, Pabst.

    Hello!

We played at Blind Pig last night and I had a question about the highest
GDP among EU members question (I can’t remember the actual wording, but I
think this is close). The answer you gave was Germany. Our team, Happy Fun
Ball, put Luxembourg. We were wondering what your source was. According to
    this

    http://epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu/cache/ITY_PUBLIC/2-19062013-BP/EN/2-19062013-BP-EN.PDF

it’s Luxembourg. I was more curious where you got Germany than anything. We
bet the max that round and it blew up in our face. We were well out of
range for any prizes, so this isn’t a “give me my points back” thing; like
I said, I was wondering if there was a list I didn’t know about.

    Thanks!

    RR

PS- the email on the website doesn’t work FYI.

    • Brent Blackwell says:

I wasn’t there and didn’t hear or write the question, but Luxembourg is #1 per capita, not total GDP. Its total GDP is well behind Germany’s, which trails only the US, China, and Japan.

Also, which email address specifically doesn’t work?

  2. Robin Richards says:

The one on the website. Thanks! We weren’t sure if they meant Per Capita or not (I think individual GDP was said, which is where one could see confusion). No biggie.
