MTM XII: Week 6, Wednesday

Bobby: Typically healthy Brewhouse crew of 15 teams saw a few oddities whether they realized it or not.

Bryan Crawford represented Earlliance (2) and has no idea how close he came to running the 2nd half of this game out of the bullpen as an emergency had the host with one foot out the door around question #7.
Also, the little sing along to the Lumineers was sweet, so thanks for that – too bad the video sucked.

To the business..

Avant Trade (6) 96 snipe 1st place bonus points at Brewhouse.. no one has any recollection of a new team showing up and sniping much of anything at Brewhouse (or the old Loco’s for that matter), much less 1st.

This leaves us talking about 2nd and 3rd which belong to BBvBoE (8) 92 & FFA (4) 85.

also –
Dirty Mike (7) 83
Brown Pope (6) 78
Earlliance 74
United (1) 72
Tang (3) 72
Muffins (6) 64
Oedipus (6) 61
Fetus (4) 56
Kramerica (3) 49

Brent: Canton was allergic to TJ’s trivia tonight, as we had our strangest night of trivia in ages… 1st went to a non-MTM team with 70… Conway Titty placed for the first time ever with 50… McNuttski got 3rd with 42. Third place… 42 points… Seriously, that happened. Even McNuttski didn’t believe me when I gave them their house cash…

Ray-Ray scored 38.

Cantonese Warriors scored 41 – after getting #20 for 20.

And for the best line of the night: the Migrating Coconuts make tournament history with a -3 point performance, which might be the lowest tournament score EVER… and the best part about it was this: they scored 12 points on the music bonuses… -15 on all bidding questions, folks…

I am burning the scoresheet as a favor to all involved parties…

TJ: Wild night at Blind Pig West. For the first time of the tournament at the pig a non-tourney team snipes some bonus points and something about Star Wars, I don’t remember.

Denim Chicken(6)…9…95
Robot Monkeys(7)…6…92
Buttcheeks………………91
United(4)………………..71
Rash(5)…………………..63
Jimmy Jams(3)…………50

Darby: Wild game at Hail Mary as we had to wait a few minutes and move some teams around to make room for everyone. At the end of the night Earliance does some serious cashing in on the bonuses, and ending up winning with 112 points (2 attendance). Old Yeller cashes in 2nd with 89 (7). Experience benefits from a non tournament team blowing a chance to win third and earns Show with 75 (4).
Fact Hunt 22(2)

Buckhead Rednecks 41(2)
