MTM XII: Week 1 Final

Brent: On Friday, Trivia Bowl VII took place at the Monkey Barrel in Gainesville.  FCT’s most decorated team, the Buckhead Rednecks, finally added a Trivia Bowl to their trophy case (87).  Congratulations all around, especially to MVP Mr. Ed Thomas, who will be inducted into the Ancient & Mysterious Order of the Tassel on Super Saturday.  Muffins take 2nd (84) and #9 (82) take 3rd.  Or best of the rest.  Or 3rd.  Other MTM teams in attendance: bobbystattoosux.com (now on the bubble), Earlliance, Denim Chicken, Pabst Playboys, Ray-Ray’s Partay, United, Bobby Brown, and Chick Filatio.

Jimmy Jams was the story of the Sunday doubleheader.  At the Pig, they won by a comfortable 95-78 margin over United, who finally got qualified for MTM and entered promptly.  Earlliance took 3rd with 76.  At Amici, Jimmy Jams took the nightcap with an impressive 113.  Earlliance’s 110 takes 2nd and improves their already strong base score.  United take 3rd with 87.  4th place Sauce Boys join the scoreboard as our Amici bubble team.
